Onion Fritters

Ingredients

  • 2 onions
  • 1 big potato
  • 1 teaspoon mixed spices
  • 1 teaspoon paprika powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • salt for seasoning
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoon all purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoon oil

Method

Chop onions very thinly. Peel and grate the potato. Put chopped onion and grated potato in a bowl and mix them. Then add turmeric, mixed spices, paprika powder and salt. Mix well. Add egg and flour and again mix well. Put it aside for 20 minutes. Heat oil in the pan. Fry the fritters in low heat. (I use non-stick pan in a low heat and make the fritters thin so that I don’t require a lot of oil.)
