Home cooked rice porridge

Ingredients

  • 3/4 rice
  • a piece of ginger
  • 1/2 tea spoon salt 
  • 5-6 cups of water
  • green peas (optional)

Method

Wash rice then put water in it. Crush ginger and put in the rice. Put salt and cook in a tight lid for around 20-30 minutes. Once cooked open the lid put green peas, stir and cook for couple of minutes. Rice porridge with green peas is ready to serve. This food is best when you are sick and feel like eating nothing.
